Introduction:-

Free Airtime: Call Who You Want and Have Them Pay for you as Long as you Have an Airtime Reception.

The story comes in question. Have you ever been stranded without airtime, but you really want to speak to your love one, Family, Boss, Madam or a business partner?

You could probably be in a remote environment where you are unable to buy airtime or even have no money to purchase it, but you cannot really give up on the call you want to make at the time.

Let's take an example here.

Majority of Network providers allow users to access the “Receiver pays service” with different USSD Codes, the service is only available to users on the same network that’s to say that an MTN-MTN, Airtel-Airtel, Glo-Glo etc. Subscriber. Any subscriber with different network to network would not work. In this post I will show you All the available Network and their USSD Codes. how to use it.

For MTN-MTN: How Do Call Receivers Pay For You?

This first Step is for those that are using  MTN Service. On "receiver pays service" If you are MTN subscriber follow the instructions below!

Step 1. You can place a call to the recipient by dialling "121 followed by the number#"

For Example: *121*08031234567#

Step 2. When you’ve successfully dialled the number, you will receive the following response from MTN Nigeria:

Step 3. Now, MTN Nigeria network will try to verify if the intending sponsor (receivers) of the call which you’ve placed the call to, two things.

  1. The receivers Tariff plan.
  2. The receivers Account Balance.

After MTN Network has done that, the receiver will receive this message.

Welcome to MTN Call Sponsor service

Press 1 to accept,

Press 2 to reject,

Press 3 to accept and add to white list,

Press 4 to reject and add to blacklist.

Now, your call sponsor will be required to either press;

To accept the call

To reject the call

To accept the call and add your number to the white list.

To reject the call and add your number to the blacklist.

Consider these two options

No 1. If your called sponsor presses 1, the call will be connected and your recipient mobile number called will be charged for the call according to his/her MTN2MTN tariff plan rate.

No 2. If your call receiver presses 2, the call will be rejected and you will receive a notification message.

For Airtel-Airtel: How Do Call Receivers Pay For You?

This Step by Step instructions is for those that are using  Airtel Service. On "receiver pays service" If you are Airtel subscriber follow the instructions below!

Like I said earlier you can make free calls on Airtel and let the receiver make the payment. My story still repeated,  Must be a situation where you are out of airtime and need to make that urgent call, maybe you are in a remote location thus couldn’t buy airtime or even recharge via your mobile app or USSD code, or you probably run out of airtime in the middle of a call, or as a student, you might need to call your parents, in any of those situations you might need to use the "Receiver pays service", hopefully, the recipient will have some Airtime and pay for the call charges.

Here is how to To Make Someone You Are Calling Pay For Your Call On Airtel

Method 1.  To achieve this you will need to dial # before the number you want to pay for the call, Note! that the number has to be an Airtel number,

e.g #(0802)-1234567, #(0902)-1234567, #(0907)-1234567, #(0901)-1234567, #(0702)-1234567, #(0812)-1234567, #(0708)-1234567, #(0808)-1234567,

Note: The receiver will need to accept to pay for the calls, else the call wouldn’t go through.

Method 2.  You can also make the receiver sponsor the call by dialling 777 followed by the recipient’s No. Then Send.

e.g 77708024123456, 777(0802)-1234567, 777(0902)-1234567, 777(0907)-1234567, 777(0901)-1234567, 777(0702)-1234567, 777(0812)-1234567, 777(0708)-1234567, 777(0808)-1234567,

Conclusion:-

How ever if we if review for the remaining Services, like Glo Network, 9mobile Network, etc. We would let you know in our next post.
